Where: Just outside historic Warwick in open countryside and on the banks of Shakespeare’s very own River Avon.
What: For your wedding reception you have two choices (both equally stunning). The first is to build a traditional marquee (or tipi) on the front lawn. Free power, you then add everything else. Its just the most amazing location with the grade 2 listed house on one side; the Victorian Gothic church on the other (a Gilbert-Scott masterpiece); an avenue of lime trees with skippity lambs, sheep and horses safely on the other side of the ha-ha grazing the river banks; and open 18th century parkland on the fourth side. Tranquility personified.
The second option is a new venture at the rear in the walled garden. Here, you add a frame tent to a traditional brick summerhouse in which you’ll find toilets, a fully-equipped, modern catering kitchen (for us to use), a chill-out zone, dance-floor, power, water etc. etc. Dance the night away to 1am then continue to party hard (with the sound turned low) in the tranquility of an historic walled garden.
Weddings: Get married in the church and stroll for 2 minutes across the gardens and cherry orchard to the main reception sites without encountering the 21st Century.. there you will find Kemp & Kemp Catering ready with your ice-cold Champagne and home-made canapes.
