Weddings. Three rooms are licenced for civil ceremonies and then you can hold your reception in the dining room, or for larger parties erect a marquee and there is no limit.

What: A Georgian mansion overlooking a rural scene, with lakes, trees, sheep and more green.
Weddings: You can get married in one of two rooms and have your drinks and canapés in the Portico Room, or on the steps, or on the front lawn. You can then eat in your own marquee across the fields. No restrictions on who you use for catering either.

What: A wonderful, newly renovated mansion built in 1859, with 10 bedrooms, including a stunning bridal suite. There is even a boat you can use on the lake, a stunning walled garden and a cellar bar. You get exclusive use of the whole place for the weekend.

In the rolling hills between Cheadle and Ashbourne is the compact village of Whiston, and just on the fringes of the village, perched on the edge of a magnificent green valley is their amazing village hall.
