Where: In the depths of the rolling Staffordshire countryside at the end of the serene village of Ingestre. This unique village is a dead-end so it feels like its miles from anywhere and yet its 7 minutes from major roads and 20 from the M6. The venue is also right across the road from the most amazing church built by Sir Christopher Wren (famed of course for St. Pauls in London) and where you can get married.
What: A wonderful, imposing historic building with plenty of grand rooms in which you can pretty much do your own thing, PLUS 27 acres of sweeping lawns (which are also yours for the day). Its available at all times of the year and you get exclusive use – no risk of meeting other brides and no rush to get out.
Weddings: Licensed for weddings and plenty of room for receptions with kitchens that Kemp and Kemp Catering can use. Our friend got married there recently and it was GREAT, so we’ve experienced the site from both perspectives. Don’t spend money on power, toilets, furniture, kitchens – its all there for you.
