Where: Between Stafford and Rugeley in deepest Staffordshire. Just on the edge of Cannock Chase.
What: A Grade II listed, ivy-clad Georgian mansion set in fab grounds.
Weddings: 30 acres of beautiful grounds and formal gardens are available for a marquee, with the house as a backdrop. The orangery and stone temple are very special and the Temple Garden is licensed for weddings and features a central Doric screen (one of the largest and finest there is). You can hire the ballroom in case of rain. They have parking facilities for up to 60 cars and the venue includes guest toilets and use of the kitchen for your caterers.
We [Richard and Karen Kemp] got married in this absolutely beautiful Georgian mansion before we began as wedding caterers. They really let us do our ‘own thing’, with absolutely no ties to any suppliers. We loved every second and couldn’t have wished for anything more perfect!
